Barrinium Dawn challenges players to expand bases, manage resources, and deploy tactical armies across a modular hex battlefield. Every match rewards scouting, timing, and long-term strategic planning.


A Modular Fog-of-War Battlefield

  • The battlefield begins largely hidden; exploration gradually reveals terrain, obstacles, and resources

  • Fog of war introduces uncertainty and surprise

  • Modular layouts ensure a unique setup every game

  • Rock formations form chokepoints; Barrinium fields provide resources but endanger unprotected units

Control of information and territory creates opportunities to score points, but strategy and counterplay ultimately determine victory.

Resource management affects production speed, army strength, and expansion potential.


Scoring and Winning Conditions

  • Points are awarded for destroying enemy units or buildings

  • Win conditions can be chosen before the game:

    • First-to-X points — first player to reach the target score wins

    • Total destruction — eliminate all opposing forces

    • Timed match — most points when the final round ends wins

Strategic production, counters, and positioning determine how efficiently you score points.


Structured Phase-Based Gameplay

Turn structure:

  1. Move — reposition units and expand territory

  2. Attack — engage enemy units and structures

  3. Sell — recover resources from buildings

  4. Continue Production — advance ongoing units and buildings

  5. Production Announcement — secretly commit to new production
